Ascent Software Training Institute (“ASTI”, “we”, “us”) respects your privacy. This policy explains what personal information we collect through asti.co.in and our enrolment process, and how we use and protect it, in line with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and other applicable Indian law.
1. Information we collect
- Details you give us: name, phone number, email address, course of interest, education and work details, and any message you send through our forms, phone or WhatsApp.
- Payment details: payment amount, date and transaction reference. Card, UPI and bank details are entered on our payment partner’s secure page and are not stored by ASTI.
- Website usage: pages visited, device and browser type, collected through cookies and analytics tools such as Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity.
2. How we use your information
- To respond to enquiries and counsel you about courses
- To enrol you, collect fees, send receipts and share class details
- To provide placement assistance, including sharing your profile with hiring companies with your consent
- To send course updates and offers, which you can opt out of at any time
- To improve our website and services
3. Sharing your information
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with: payment partners (such as Razorpay) to process payments; service providers who help us run our website, email, SMS and WhatsApp communication; employers, for placement, with your consent; and authorities, where required by law.
4. Payment security
Online payments are processed by our authorised payment gateway partner, which is PCI-DSS compliant. ASTI never sees or stores your full card number, CVV, UPI PIN or net banking password.
5. Cookies
Our website uses cookies to remember your preferences and understand how visitors use the site. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings.
6. Data retention
We keep your information for as long as needed to provide our services and meet legal, tax and accounting requirements, and then delete it securely.
